McNally Receives Prince B. Woodard Leadership Award for Extraordinary Service

FREDERICKSBURG, VA – Community Foundation Executive Director Teri McNally received the Prince B. Woodard Leadership Award at the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Gala, Friday, January 26.
The annual award is given to an individual who has been of significant service to the Fredericksburg region over a length of time.

McNally has served as Executive Director at The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region for 16 years. Under her leadership, charitable assets available for our community have grown from $1 million to $21 million. She is a tireless and tenacious advocate for greater charitable resources for the good of all.
McNally is passionate about justice and democracy, particularly a champion of equality for women. She is a founding member and an original organizer of The Community Foundation’s Women and Girls Fund -- a grantmaking program that involves women as philanthropists and makes grants each year to support girls and women in our region.
McNally is also active in the community as a Rotarian and current board member at the Germanna Community College Board. She has also served on the boards of Multicultural Outreach Effort, Micah Ecumenical Ministries, Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, and Virginia Network of Nonprofit Organizations.

Large Business or the Year – Lifecare Medical Transports
Community Impact Award – Rappahannock Area YMCA
