Welcome Linda, Stacy, Amy and Ray!

At its June meeting, The Community Foundation's board of governors approved 4 nominees to join their ranks: Linda Blakemore, Stacy Horne, Amy McCullough and Ray Slaughter.
Linda Blakemore is President and CEO of The Gemini 3 Group, a defense contracting company in Stafford.
Her firm provides logistics support, project management and SharePoint development.
A 1984 Mary Washington College (UMW) grad, she received her MBA from Virginia Tech in 1996.
Linda volunteers on the UMW College of Business Executive Advisory Board and serves as an active member of the UMW Eagle Club. She also officiates field hockey and women’s lacrosse.
Linda lives in Fredericksburg with her husband Porter, an associate professor of history at UMW.
Stacy Horne founded Rappahannock Insurance Services in 1992 and operates two Allstate agencies.
Stacy is a charter member and board leader of Fredericksburg Area Service League. She serves as President of the Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic board. She serves on the Fredericksburg Chamber board, volunteers with United Way and has been a Sunday school teacher at the Presbyterian Church for 10 years.
Stacy is a Fredericksburg native graduating from Fredericksburg City Schools and UMW.
Stacy and her husband, Andrew, have two daughters. Holland is married and lives in Indianapolis and Charlotte works in the insurance agencies.
Amy McCullough operates her own law firm specializing in estate planning, adult guardianships, and elder law.
She is certified as a Guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults. She is a frequent CLE and community speaker on estate and elder law.
Originally from Charlottesville, Amy has lived locally since 2002. She was a University of Virginia Echols Scholar, and received her law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
Amy is currently Secretary of the Washington Heritage Museums board and an active member of the Fredericksburg Area Service League
Amy lives in Spotsylvania with her husband, Stephen (Steve), and their two sons, Andrew and William.
Ray Slaughter served as a distinguished Associate Professor of Accounting at University of Richmond from 1979 to 2018.
From 1980 to 2015, Ray operated his own law firm in Bowling Green, VA, with a focus on Commercial Law and Federal Taxation.
Ray serves as Chairman of the Board at both Employment Resources, Inc. and The Gladys Oberle School. He has served on the Board of Directors for Union Bank & Trust since 2004.
Ray graduated from Kentucky State College in 1967, received his J.D. from Howard University in 1970, and received his MBA from the Wharton School in 1971. Ray received a Masters of Law in Taxation at the College of William and Mary in 1991.
Ray resides in Woodford, Virginia with his wife June. They have two children, son Raymond, Jr, and daughter Tina and two grandchildren.
