The Como Farm Scholarship Fund
The Como Farm Scholarship is a four-year award, which “follows” the winner through their college career, on the condition of adequate annual progress.
This scholarship fund was established in May 2010 by anonymous donors and named for their family home place in recognition of “four generations of love” for their community.
The family wishes to support the college or university education of one or more high school seniors from the City of Fredericksburg or the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, Stafford or Westmoreland. In particular, the donors intend for their gift to support the further education of high school students who are prepared and committed to making significant contributions back to their community. Priority will be given to students for whom financial need or other circumstances create barriers to further education. Youth living in foster homes are encouraged to apply.
For the 2017-2018 scholarship cycle, this award will be a one-year scholarship only. The four-year award cycle will begin again in 2018-2019.
