Based in Miami Beach and the District of Columbia, Kimberly provides overall strategic direction for Political Institute for Women with an emphasis on program development, strategic partnerships and global growth. Just prior to founding PIW, Kimberly was a Director of Development for the White House Project. At the White House Project ,she was responsible for corporate partnerships and development for the southern US. Kimberly brings 20 years of legal, business, political, entrepreneurial and non-profit experience to her current role. She was inspired by her daughter, Ryen, to create the Girls in Politics Initiative, which is considered the jewel in our Political Institute for Women crown.

Keenan has successfully planned and led political campaigns, including political analysis and planning, personnel and administrative oversight, and candidate management.
