Grant Programs

The ability of our Community Foundation to make grants depends upon the generosity of our donors and their charitable interests, as well as the availability of investment earnings. This page provides information for grantseekers about funding opportunities. Currently, the majority of our funding comes from Donor Advised Funds and they do not accept grant requests.

A central part of our mission is to “foster permanent charitable funds and philanthropic programs to support outstanding community projects.” Although we are still a young organization with limited resources and staff, we take that part of our mission very seriously. To us, it’s a vital component of connecting donors to issues that they care about.

To that end, we participate in a number of area initiatives that we believe hold particular promise for those who love and serve our community. They're listed to the right; we encourage you to click and explore!

If the material on this site does not answer your questions, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
