August 7, 2025 – Fredericksburg, VA — The Community Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Jamee Rodgers as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Teri McNally, who retired after a compelling 23-year tenure.
Dr. Rodgers brings over two decades of leadership experience in nonprofit management, strategic planning, and community development. Most recently, he served as President & CEO of the Urban Neighborhood Initiative in Kansas City, where he led significant revitalization efforts and oversaw $250 million in development initiatives focused on equity and opportunity.
Dr. Rodgers holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Executive Leadership, a Master of Arts in Ministry and Nonprofit Organizational Leadership, and is a certified John Maxwell Executive Trainer and Consultant. A nationally recognized speaker, strategist, and advocate for equitable systems, Dr. Rodgers is deeply committed to fostering inclusive growth and driving meaningful impact through collaboration.

McNally’s leadership has left an indelible mark on the region, and her retirement is met with heartfelt gratitude from board members, staff, and community partners alike.
