grant programs

Most Community Foundation grant distributions are made at the recommendation of advisors through our donor advised funds. Nonprofits may only apply to this type of fund by invitation. A Letter of Inquiry is the ideal way to introduce your nonprofit to the foundation and its donors. Additionally, several high-impact foundation funds have a competitive application process.
Letter of Inquiry
We are always interested in learning about new organizations, programs and initiatives. Nonprofits may complete a letter of inquiry using the online form below. Completing the letter of inquiry does not guarantee a review for funding.
If more information about your work is needed, a foundation staff member will call, and may request a site visit. View a sample letter of inquiry here.
