How to Apply

Apply Now

The Community Foundation's scholarship application portal opens in December.

Step 1: Explore scholarship opportunities.

Eligibility and application materials vary from scholarship to scholarship. Please carefully review scholarship guidelines before applying.

Step 2: Watch the scholarship application tutorial.

Review the scholarship tutorial prior to registering and starting the application.

Step 3: Create a new account using the online system and begin your application during the open application window.

Check our scholarship timeline to learn when area high school seniors may begin an online application. Students should complete the General Information section, then the Short Answer section. The application's qualifying questions will allow you to enter your high school and receive information about the scholarships to which you may apply. The online application will replicate your information for each qualifying scholarship opportunity. You will be asked to provide brief statements about your curricular and extracurricular activities, your work history, etc.

Students will use features within the online application to contact their school guidance counselor for transcript information. Students will also use the tools provided to request letter(s) of recommendation from people who know you well and can speak about your character and accomplishments. Be sure to allow ample time for your chosen referral providers to return the recommendations.

Once you have begun an application, you may save your work and return to the application at any time.

Click the "apply" button above during the open application window to access the online scholarship application portal and begin your scholarship application. The scholarship portal opens in December and closes at the beginning of February.

If you have questions, please email info@cfrrr.org.
