The Leumas Cares - Stephanie Myers Domestic Violence Victim Support Fund
This fund was established to support African-American youth in the region who have experienced the profound loss of both parents as a result of domestic violence, including circumstances in which one parent lost their life and the other later took their own life. The fund's mission is to help these young people access the supplemental developmental resources they may need to heal, grow, and thrive, including counseling services, tutoring, scholarships, educational enrichment opportunities, and immersive travel experiences.
For an initial period of 16 years, 75% of all grant funding will be directed toward this specific cause, with the remaining 25% supporting local organizations that provide services and resources to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. Following the initial 16-year period, 100% of available funding will be directed to local organizations focused on supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence.
