The Wilson Family Fund for Health and Education
Mary and Joe Wilson established this Field of Interest Fund in April of 2018. Known for their commitment and connection to the greater Fredericksburg area, this fund is a simplified way for the Wilson's to continue to "give back" to the causes they are passionate about.
The fund shall be used to advance education and health in our community. Grants will support two areas of focus important to the Wilson family:
- healthcare, wellness and related efforts, and
- schools, universities and related education programs.
Donors who establish a Field of Interest Fund target their gift to address a specific area of need. Whatever areas of interest inspire you to contribute – the arts, access to healthcare, the environment – The Community Foundation can assist in establishing a fund and recommending strategic gifts to address the causes you care about most.
