Local high school seniors are invited to apply for more than $170,000 in scholarships. Opportunities are available to graduating high school seniors from Caroline, Fredericksburg, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford that plan to attend a university, college, vocational school or career technical school. Applications are open now through February 16th, 2024.
The foundation has awarded over $135,000 to 50 local students to help achieve their educational dreams.

The Community Foundation will award more than $140,000 in scholarships to area high school seniors. Applications must be submitted on or before 11:00 PM on March 1, 2020.
The Dahlgren Heritage Museum is leading the effort to establish a mathematics scholarship in honor of two lifelong Dahlgren employees, Ira and Gladys West.
The Brown brothers were known for their optimistic outlooks, big hearts, and infectious smiles. Ian and Jalen’s family and many friends established this scholarship fund to support deserving students who share the boys’ ability to spread kindness and to positively impact others around them.
