The Duff McDuff Green, Jr. Fund honors the legacy of a man deeply rooted in Virginia’s history and committed to his community. A lifelong Stafford County resident, Green was a businessman, philanthropist, and steward of the land who dedicated his life to giving back. A successful businessman in the lumber industry, Green dedicated his later years to philanthropy—supporting Mary Washington Hospital, preserving family cemeteries, and giving back to local businesses. His most notable gift was 60 acres of land for Duff McDuff Green Memorial Park, ensuring future generations could enjoy the outdoors. His legacy of service and generosity continues through the Fund’s mission to support local nonprofits.
