Grant Programs

Most Community Foundation grant distributions are made at the recommendation of advisors through our Donor-Advised Funds. Nonprofits may only apply to this type of fund by invitation.

Letter of Inquiry

While nonprofits may only apply to Donor Advised Funds by invitation, we are always interested in learning about new organizations, programs and initiatives. Nonprofits may complete a letter of inquiry using the on-line form. Completing the letter of inquiry does not guarantee a review for funding.

If more information about your work is needed, a foundation staff member will call, and may request a site visit. If staff identify your letter of inquiry as a match for one or more funds, you will be invited to submit a full proposal. Staff will evaluate the proposal, then submit it to a board committee for review and possible approval.

Submit a letter of Inquiry using our Gifts Online form: https://www.GrantRequest.com/SID_2098?SA=SNA&FID=35041
