Grant funding for the 2021/2022 school year

The foundation’s Haven Make a Difference Fund and the Governor's Row Fund for Teachers and Students will award $18,000 in combined grants that benefit Fredericksburg City Schools teachers and students. Teachers may apply for grants that expand their teaching skills or provide classroom resources. Successful proposals will feature innovation, be based on solid research and best practices in teaching and include professional development that directly impacts students. 

The Haven Make a Difference Fund

The Haven Make a Difference Fund was established in December 2011 by the South Carolina company Johnson Development Associates/The Haven at Celebrate Virginia II, LLC as a demonstration of their commitment to the people of the Fredericksburg area. Each year a percentage of the total fund is made available in the form of grants to benefit Fredericksburg public school teachers and children.

The Governors Row Fund for Teachers and Students

The Governors Row Fund for Teachers and Students was established in March 2016 by W. W. Webb & Associates developers of the townhouses at Governor's Row, as a demonstration of their commitment to the people of the Fredericksburg. Each year a percentage of the total fund is made available in the form of grants to benefit Fredericksburg public school teachers and children.
