Good News From Grantees: A Healthier Community
Through a grant from The Community Fund Fredericksburg Christian Health Center will be able to continue providing Behavioral Health Interventions. Recognizing the challenges faced by many patients in accessing mental health services, this program integrates behavioral health services into primary care. By streamlining access and reducing financial barriers, it aims to enhance mental health outcomes in the region.

Royster’s nonprofit organization, the Center for African American Genealogical Research, Inc.. received a $6,000 grant from the Duff McDuff Green Jr. Fund of the Community Foundation of the Rappahannock Region to conduct research on the five subjects she identified as abolitionists during the 18th and 19th centuries.

Apply for a Grant to Benefit First Responders in King George County
Public safety organizations and initiatives are invited to apply for a grant that promotes the health and wellness of first responders from The John C. Russell Health and Wellness Grant for Public Safety in King George. Examples of possible proposals for funding include; equipment for physical training, safety equipment, PTSD training or mental health and physical wellness programs.
